Research interests

My primary research interest is knot theory. I have 2 papers posted on the topic.

I also do some work in graph theory.

I have also provided the bridge indices of the 11-crossing knots for the Knot Atlas and KnotInfo sites.

Software and websites I use

I find several different software packages useful in my research.

Knot Atlas — a website with knot-by-knot information
KnotInfo — a website with a searchable database of knot invariants
TikZ/PGF — a graphics package for LaTeX typesetting. The source files in the knot gallery are all TikZ files
SnapPy — a tool for examining hyperbolic knot complements, among other things
Knotscape — a tool for working with knots
